DAY 1 - Depart Grove City Walmart at 7:30 a.m. (breakfast stop, enroute, on own). Enjoy a late lunch (included) at Teibel’s in Schererville, IN. Following lunch we will visit the Shrine of the Christ’s Passion – an interactive half mile winding pathway that begins with the Last Supper and Garden of Gethsemane, featuring 40 life-size bronze statues. Next stop is the Community Veterans Memorial which includes memorials for WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam and Desert Storm, set amidst landscapes of war-torn lands. Then it’s on to our hotel to check and freshen up for a delectable dinner buffet and gaming time at the Horseshoe Casino. Return to the hotel anytime via our complimentary hotel shuttle.
DAY 2 - Chicago – Enjoy a 1 hour Chicago River Architecture Cruise, shopping time at Navy Pier, lunch and shopping time in Chinatown, guided tour of Chicago, and dinner and show at Tommy Gun’s Garage.
DAY 3 - After breakfast, check out of the hotel and board the bus for the Dillinger Museum followed by a tour of the Hoosier Bat Company. The next stop is one of our favorites, Albanese Candy - home to the “world’s best gummies”! And lastly we stop for adventure, lunch and learning at Fair Oaks Dairy Farm. Here you will learn about the dairy industry, tour a milking parlor, view a birthing, and enjoy lunch (included). Approximate return to Grove City Walmart is 8:15pm.
